I LOVE foxes so much*_* and this is like uber aweseome.. I haven't used the pen tool often yet because it annoys me... well in general computer lineart annoys me <.< How do you get the ends of the lines to look so extremely pointy? I love the lines~
I'm so glad you like my fox! -- The pointy-ness of the lines come from when you "stroke" the line using the pen tool. It gives you the option to "apply pressure". That's what makes the lines fat in the middle and thin on the ends.
yes it's soo awesome*_* thanks for your info^^ Maybe I should try to use it again soon.. because lineart with the pentool always looks so perfect..xD
How do you did you do the lineart here by the way? Did you draw all of the paths first and then applied black to the lines or do you finish line after line? Just curious (hope you understand my question.. I don't know how to say it better..XD)
I use the pen tool sort of like a pencil--one line at a time. I draw (make path then stroke) one line, erase as needed, draw the next line, erase as needed, and draw again until the picture is complete.
