Really? Never played any Mario games. I just don't have the coordination to play Hop & Bob games. I like games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and Okami -- story games.

But you need coordination to play Zelda too... I thought you needed it for Okami, but i never knew what Okami was like

You don't need anywhere near the level of hand-eye coordination to play Zelda that you do to play Mario games. Okami is like FF7, and the newer Zeldas, only you play a Wolf not a human. You're solving a lot of Puzzles rather than running around hitting the buttons a million times to kill something.

:doh:After sending my reply I was thinking about Zelda's action and realized that in the newer Zelda games it's more about timing while defending than it is about precisely moving Link to an exact spot. When Link needs to dodge something he may have a shield and a dodge button, but Mario needs to be guided around precisely. No shield, and dodging is manual. And jumping for Link usually means running off a ledge and he'll grab on, and all the jumps he needs to make are spaced with his maximum jump distance in mind. With Mario, again, he needs to be manually guided through the air to the correct spot- which may be on top of an enemy's head if there's a bad guy on the other side. If Link had to do that, he would have an item for it that would do the trick.

I've got Skyward Sword, and thinking about that, the hardest part of the combat is not really coordination. It's doing the correct strike with the right timing. And dodging or blocking with the right timing.

Okami is like Final Fantasy 7? Okay, I played FF7 a bit. (And it's cool [at least for a while] that in Zelda Twilight Princess you get to be a wolf too and everyone was comparing that game- which I played- to Okami, which I didn't.)

Never played Mario games at all?

You got it exactly right. Mario takes Precision. Zelda is more about the right Tool and Timing. Okami is the same way: Close is Good Enough.

Nope, no Mario games. I watched my little brother playing it and realize right away that I would never be any good with games like that. I had the same problem with Castlevania games. My coordination just wasn't good enough to get me more than halfway through the games.

If you played Castlevania you probably didn't even get halfway through the first stage, let alone the GAME, as hard as those games are! :XD: I never had the guts to play Castelvania and I heard it's too hard from MY little brother- and from the internet also.

Oh, right! It was halfway through the first stage in Castlevania that I was forced to quit. You have to have seriously good coordination to play that one. However, I adore watching Other people play it. I love the graphics.

Very nice. Very good proportion and definitely digging the angled projection from the usual square front focus .
